Mersisters Gathering #TheMermaidMission

Have a little spare time now, might as well update my long abandoned blog. lolol

I have been rather free over the past one weeks, not supposed to say this so publicly cause i am supposed to at least pretend to be busy at work but but buttttttt, i can't. I haven had much work to do except to clear of remaining handovers which are almost done with actually.

So, i have lotsa spare time just hanging around and ponder about life. hahahah wtf

Anyway, i received a text from Dolphin stating that he would be hosting a Mermaid gathering soon and that includes putting our tails on together, having our make up done together, submerging into the water together and most of all have a splashing time together!

10th April was the day I was looking forward too cause it's been so long since i last hid my legs beneath those beautiful tails.

Last sight of tail was precisely 4 months ago during the KL Aquaria school holiday show.

Pictures are taken with the Olympus underwater camera, no filters yo. The outcome of the pictures are just stunning!

Water wasn't particularly clear on that day but this is a great shot taken by Agnes thought the hair looks like Simba's hair. HAHAH WTF!

10 of us for today, missing at least another 6 more! Our team are slowly expanding from time to time and we are all super glad to be in this together! :)

There we go, the 10KG silicone tail that is very very difficult to put on. Look at the amount of help i need! =.=" It's like I can't put on my own cloths. lolol

This 10KG silicone tail is one of the most beautiful creafted tail that #TheMermaidMission owns, though movements are restricted but pictures outcomes are fantastic.

Excuse the huge arms! Can't really do anything about it anymore! =((

Look at my group of Mersisters having a splash! HAHAHAH

Being a mermaid is one of the best thing that has ever happened in my life! Never once have i felt dreadful or tired putting on a those beautiful tails!

To many more years of being a part time Mermaid. HAHAH

Thank you Dolphin Lee for this once again!

*waving our goodbyes with our tails* wtf lolol

The Mermaid Mission

Updating my blog now cause it's been a really fruitful day!

If you did read my previous post, I guess you would have know that I completed our first Mermaid Show at Aquaria KLCC with the team #TheMermaidMission

Pinning this down cause I have been received so much support from talent bloggers under my care in Nuffnang.

Audrey, Fighter and Yen turned up today to support! It's so nice of them. Kim Low wanted to drop by today as well but couldn't do so last min cause mummy duties call. heheh :) No worries Kim, there will always be a next time.

Had Bobo and Wei Zhi who wanted to turn up also but due to work commitment they couldn't. :)

So loved by all my #competitiveaunties!

"Look at this stuff
Isn't it neat?
Wouldn't you think my collection's complete?
Wouldn't you think I'm the girl
The girl who has everything?"

wtf, i don't have everything la. LOL

I was definitely much more nervous today and when you are nervous, you can't really keep your head straight in the game thus the lack of breath and all. phew~ but the experience was ah-ma-zing! Looking pass the glass window, I saw so many pairs of eyes staring at me and tons of camera being held. For one moment, i felt like a superstar! wtf wtf wtf. Until i sniff water and then back to REALITY! HAHAH

Sab said i look slim in the pic and video! wahseh, this i very happy to hear... I need to swim more often!

Anyway, placing videos taken by Yen and Craig! :) without be able to secure all these footages without them!

If you guys are keen, do drop by on the 25th of 30th at 10.30AM to catch us #TheMermaidMission at the Aquatreatre of Aquaria KLCC :)

Living The Life Of Ariel

Living the life of Ariel, except that I'm just a part time one! wtf hahahaha

Anyway, thank you Dolphin Lee again for this crazy once in a lifetime opportunity! Would have never thought of swimming in an Aquarium filled with all kind of fishes, that includes Sharks and Stingrays in my life.

Gonna be expressing the sort of feelings and thoughts i have after diving into KLCC Aquaria's tank.

1. Cold

Water temperature is at 25 degrees! The moment i stepped into the water, i froze! This is without wet suit yea, we are wearing out bikini! Instant thought, how the f am i supposed to dive, swim, hold my breath and perform skills in such freezing cold water?

Screw the coldness, heads in and started kicking like a shark was chasing me *er literally*. After sniffing and drinking salt water, I started getting a hang of the temperature.

2. Nervous

A week before, when Dolphin told us that the practice is about to take place, I was already feeling a tiny bit nervous. Why wouldn't I? You have been seeing everything from the outside and now the position is switched. Being trapped behind glass windows placed a kind of mental fear in me and furthermore there are living creatures swimming along side of you. lol

Verdict: I was nervous for nothing, the only living creature that could come near me was some fishes and a turtle which i managed to get a picture with.

3. Fear

Hello, self explanatory! Got sharks inside le and its branded as the 3rd fiercest shark in the world. Even with 3 divers surrounding us, it's still dangerous hor!

We had a up close encounter with the shark but from above la, it's freaking huge! =.=

4. Surreal

How many people would ever be able to dive in Aquaria KLCC? Even if you have money, you need to be a legit diver. Lim pen did it without tank and legs bound by a pair of tail! HAHAH. It was definitely an amazing experience. Wouldn't trade anything for this experience. Thank you Mum and Dad for sending us for swimming classes and training!

Anyway, here are some of the short videos that we managed to film.

It finally sinked into me that I'm actually here, doing what i love most! This kind of opportunities are hard to come by, even with tonnes of money, many do not have the chance to put on a mermaid tail and swim in a tourist attraction.

Anyway, if you are keen to take a look at #TheMermaidMission in action, the first show will be on on the 7th of December 2015 at KLCC Aquaria, check out their official page for more information.

Swim Like A Mermaid

One of my major backlog again.

Haven had the time to update my blog again, i guess it's gonna be a common occurrence la.

Just got home from 2 back to back event, 1st one being a Don't Text and Drive campaign organized by Sunway University. Being a talent manager, I follower Audrey, Bobo and Careen to deliver their insights on don't text and drive which everyone is guilty of la. Don't try to deny that you do not text and drive k.. no one is going to believe you. I'm personally guilty of that crime, so far lucky me *touchwood* haven got into any trouble, but after some reminder, i think i should avoid texting while driving la honestly. Like Bobo mentioned, if it is urgent then that person will call you instead of text you! A text can wait, we only have one life to spare. So, drive safely people.

Anyway, back to my main topic. Went for another mermaid show 3 weeks back at Bangsar. Yeap, Bangsar where all the rich people stay, this one no exception la. The two owner of We Love Asia, Bryan and Nic celebrated their birthday. The house is 4 storey tall, has a lift it in, a swimming pool and a magnificent view overlooking the city!

Here, look! A picture on the highest floor, which is also the main entrance floor. haha

Here with me, the ever so beautiful Agnes! No doubt a true beauty in and out. She is a true believer of her own religion, practices it well also! A pleasure to befriend her.

Living the life! Mini private cinema, eight seater! OMG, imagine I have this la! I will always invite my frens over for movie night man! hahah

Took a picture before we were release into our habitat, the swimming pool! HAHAH

sorry, not sorry.. eyes close! but the color of the pic too nice to not post! No filter for all the pictures posted for this blogpost!

Ending the blogpost with some tail flipping! :)

I love this job of mine seriously! I have seen/experience so much and met so many people throughout my journey as a mermaid.

Can't wait for more! Thank you Dolpin Lee. :D

Dolphin Lee Aquatic Annual Dinner

[Backlog post]

If you haven know, I am currently working in Nuffnang and also Dolphin Lee Aquatic.

Dolphin Lee Aquatic is the swim school that I'm working for during the weekends to earn extra income even though it is very tiring and it doesn't give me time to socialize with my friends but I guess while i'm still young, I would have to do all these.

So, it is an annual things that DLA have, the 'sou gong' dinner, whereby all the employees are gathered to have a meal together. Most of the company does that actually, if they don't, the boss is probably too cheapskate. HAHAH.

Anyway, this year's sou gong dinner is at V Garden restaurant. ;)

Me and my 20 years buddy, Willis! jokes! He always say i;m his 20 years buddy but in actual I've only known him since I was 14. That only makes our friendship 9 years. Math failed la he! HAHAH..

Also holds the position as the Chief Instructor in DLA. Very responsible fella, does his job well! No one would have been a better candidate than him. =]

Here are a few of the young's kids that is already teaching in DLA. Some in the process of learning still. These kids are age between 15 − 20 yet there are so ready to learn and earn a bit on their own. So proud of these kiddos! :)

With Agnes babeh! This girl is very very pretty in person! One of my mersisters too :)

With Naomi Wong, Cliff and ah Sam

And here we have the mermaids of DLA with our Mr boss! =)

The boys in the team, most of them are instructors and divers. :)

With one of my chatterbox swimmer! Alvin. Comes from a well of family and he is only 16 this year yet he is already working as a part timer in DLA. Still my swimmers under my training, a lot to learn some more ya Alvin! =]

Here comes the food!

What is a chinese new year dinner with Lou Sang! =] In a year time, we only get to lou sang like once or twice. Have to make full use of it la

Boss officiating the lou sang session with some wisdom words of his. haha

See the mess that we have created! It is a good thing though for the chinese, it means the gold are scattered everywhere, you will not be poor for the entire year. yayyy =)

And the remaining are the 9 course meal that the Chinese always have. HAHAHA

Chicken soup

Pon Choy! the most expensive dish out of all the dishes served, consist of abalone and what not la. Aiya, i also don't know la, my job is to eat!

Steamed fish

Pak cham kai; steam chicken.

Prawns in butter sauce

Glutinous rice. The thing about this dish is by the time it is out, everyone is freaking full already. Nobody can consume it anymore and the whole plate would just go to waste la. It is always the same even in chinese wedding dinner.

Dessert was great! Mochi and fried sweet potato i think. LOL

And of course, what is a Chinese New Year Dinner without a Yum Seng session! HAHAHA. not with beer or liquor but with chinese tea for the kids.

I really love the DLA family, never once regretted coming over here. Every job has its up and down, the ups are occasions like these. The down shall not be mentioned, all i can say is I LOVE MY JOB! =)

Thank you Dolphin Lee for all the great opportunities and fun time! =)

Well, that's all folk.
