What The Fox? – Apple Fox Cider

Hello peeps! 

It’s been a month since i last wrote. HAHA. I have nothing to announce or update so i have been keeping this space blank. Ahh, been hoping to travel so i could update more but financially that does not permit. Anyways, i’m here today to speak about one of my favourite beverage; Cider. What makes it even better is that there is a new Cider in town, a New Zealand inspired apple cider that ripples your sense with a crisp refreshing taste. Pop pop popcorn~

Over the weekend I had the privilege to watch BATMAN V SUPERMAN courtesy of Perfecto Popcorn, Fox Movies and Nuffnang! Yahoo!!

I tried the Perfecto Popcorn last year when it was newly launched, Vanilla was my favourite out of the 2 other choices.

Met up with a few friends to have dinner before enjoying our perfect movie date! hehe

To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much from the movie due to the many bad reviews that I have heard, some said it was horrible, some said it was rather good. Doesn’t matter, reviews will not stop me from experiencing it myself.

It was rather dry at the beginning but things started to pick up when Lex Luthor unveiled his intention of recovering Zod’s DNA to destroy supernatural being a.k.a superman la! Like the fact that what reconcile the two superheroes were the names of their mother, Martha. <3 #LoveYouMummy

Everyone knows that popcorn is usually associated with movie, it’s a somewhat necessary when you enter a cinema. My movie experience was made better with Perfecto popcorn I got to munch on during the entire 2 hours plus movie.

It was sweet and crunchy, unlike other popcorn, Perfecto’s one was fully coated on every single piece you pick up.

I hate it when in a huge tub of popcorn, I have to pick and choose those that are coated with caramel. =.=” It’s so distracting but with Perfecto, those are definitely not a concern at all.

So generous!!! This was found in the goodybag! I usually don’t bother much with flat lays but Perfecto deserves a thumb up for providing us with so much snacks! :)

Sharing My Chang With You! *wink*

HAHAH, what a title! Sharing Chang beer ya not my boyfriend Eric Chang, he is not for sharing. Lol

Not sure if I should mention this but I really love having a pint of beer every once in a while, it’s perfect during scorching hot weather, it helps to cool down the body and it’s seriously very refreshing! Given the choice of Chang beer and other carbonated drinks, hands down BEER yo!

It’s also perfect on a night out with friends, beers are conversation opener! 5.5% of alcohol is enough to kick start an amazing night, imagine having a group of friends staring at their phones on a night out? Might as well stay at home right!

The first time I tasted Chang beer was when I visited Phuket 2 years back! It tasted refreshingly different from the other beer that’s I have tried before. Less bitter and much more soothing to the throat.

A little history on Chang beer la:

Why isit named Chang beer?

Chang in Thai means elephant, and Elephant is apparently Thailand’s National animal! Rather significant right? I always thought the elephant was just there for visual sake. Lol

Chang beer is a premium beer in Thailand and it is also recognised globally for its sponsorship of Liverpool’s Everton football club.

Those who frequently visit Bangkok would recognise Chang beer to be bottled in golden brown right? But, they recently revamped the design of their bottle in my favourite tone of green, looking much more elegant isn’t it?

Know what am I thinking of having now?  A hot bowl of Tom Yam soup with my trusty Chang beer! Oh-The-Yums!

My Spicy Remedy - Cool Tea

I always have a weak spot for spicy food since young. It was so so bad till the point whereby anything red, I would automatically push em away. RED = SPICY!

When did I started to slowly conquer my fear of spiciness? To be precise, when I started liking K-pop! Lol I wanted to try what kimchi tasted like and how the other ‘red’ broth based food tasted like. From then, I started picking up how to consume spicy food. I’m still very very bad to it to be honest.

Why are we speaking of spicy food? Because I found my remedy to spiciness!

Mamee newly launched beverage known as Cool Tea. It is a Herbal Tea that is made out of 8 different types of natural herbs (liquorice root, lotus leaf, honeysuckle and chrysanthemum flower, selfheal, grosvenor momordica fruit, mulberry leaf and mesona chinensis.) as ingredient that helps to release body heat. It is my current best companion when I devour spicy food! J I’m not even joking, the herbal tea helps to sooth your burning tongue when you are enjoying something spicy, you know you can’t stand the spiciness yet you can’t resist em, so cool tea is the way to roll!

On the 12^th of December, I was invited to a Spicy Challenge Event at Chilli Rush, Jaya One. Boy, you gotta drop by to try out their level 10 fried chicken.

My level of tolerance towards spicy food is probably 4/10. This challenge required me to take in as many level 10 chicken wings within one minute and without consuming any drinks. =.=”

It started off like this:

1. When you still can smile for the camera

2. It’s kicking in and expression is the least of your concern

3. Grab the bottle of Cool Tea!

4. Drink as if like there is no tomorrow!

It hurts like !@#$%^&*(@#$%! My lip was swollen and my tongue was burning! I drank 2 bottles of Cool Tea on the spot! It helps a lot!

Truth to be told, I only had 1 tiny bite and I started drinking even before the 1 min wan up.

I saw other bloggers who could gobble down 5 pieces! WHAT?! 5 pieces le!

The chicken is not even RED anymore, it’s BLACK in color and they could gobble 5? God, Save them! Lol

Everyone was cheering on each other during the finals. 4 minutes without consuming any drinks. Saw that some of them were really trying very very hard, tears welling up and sweats dripping, eyes kept switching to the Cool Tea bottle that was right in front of them! HAHAHAHAH==

Hard work and tolerance paid off for the Aris who ate 5 chicken wing, he won an ICE WATCH! Woohoo~
