A Fine Experience at Marble 8 Steakhouse

Promised myself to blog today, so i spent an hour plus just transferring pictures from my phone to the Macbook and sorting them by events/albums.

An hour just flew by like that. Sighh.. time, where have you gone to?

Anyway, this is a throwback blogpost.

If you did follow me on Instagram, you would have already guessed that I recently had the chance to enjoy a meal at Marble 8 courtesy of me bf.

By far the most expensive meal we have had together, don't even know what was the occasion la tbh, I have just been bugging him for the longest time to bring me there for the wagyu and he finally agreed to do so a week before Christmas. We decided not to go before Christmas because we were worried that it might be pack.

I am a huge fan of steak, so I'm ready to try all the steak i can get in the world. LOL

Told Eric, to cheer me up he just need to buy me 1. Steak 2. Crab. LOL Two of my fav food!

So, a day before we went to Marble 8, we made a booking for 7PM, being the kiasu Malaysian that we are, we arrived at 6.30PM to only find out that the place isn't open until 7PM. So me and Eric sat in the car and waited.

Were the 1st to arrive therefore, we had the best seat in the room!

Ambience was romantic but we weren't la. LOL

Took our time looking through the menu, deciding which chunk of meat should i devour. HAHAH. We were ready to burn a hole in our pocket that night, expecting the bill to come up to about 1,000.

I had my eyes set on the wet aged beef actually, reason being, i love love love juicy beef, seeing the juice oozing out when i cut em pieces makes me happy, but the waiter recommended the dry aged beef instead, he said wet aged beef is a waste because the juice oozes out and it goes to waste.

It's okay, i will be back again to try out the wet aged beef. Oh, another reason why i went with the dry aged beef was because they only serve Wagyu in dry aged beef. All wet aged by black angus.

I wanted to try wagyu therefore the decision!

Complimentary beard, love the sun dried tomato dressing. The others, i have no idea what are they except for the olive oil.

The waiters there are extremeeeeelyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy polite and helpful!

We needed help in wine recommendation and he said quite a number of things that i could;t catch, still couldn't decide though even after his recommendation, so i told him the wine that goes well with everything la. LOL

We took two glasses, i ended up finishing both cause Eric isn't a fan of alcohol. hahaha

We had the Hokkaido scallop and lobster carpaccio with yes sauce and wasabi mayonnaise topped with roasted sesame seed. Price at RM88

erm, i didn't quite enjoy this exquisite meal tho. Too raw for my liking. heheh

Eric ordered the roasted lamb rack cause he isn't a fan of steak. It was alright only, had better ones before.

and here comes my glorious steak:

I don't know how to describe the 1st bite, i was smiling from eye to eye man! All i can think about was, this is by far the best chunk of wagyu i have ever tasted before.
"Is this how heaven taste like"
"I am definitely coming here again"

All those were running through my mind. HAHAHAH

It was so so good, i couldn't beare to even share a piece with Eric, but i did la okay! HAHAHAH

Have i forgot to mention that, we ordered steak fries with truffle mayo and baked portobello mushroom as our sides.
The truffle mayo was the BOMB! even Eric agreed, it's hard to please Eric when it comes to food but he said the Truffle Mayo was something!

Complimentary dessert and of course we ordered our own dessert, the waiter made it on the spot for us, just right beside out table. Too lazy to have the video uploaded here. Sorry guys! HAHAH

Total damage was RM800++ for 2 pax

I wanna be a mum too (12/5/2013)

I can't what to be a mum too one day...i know i will shower my kids with lots of love and give them the best in life...HAHAH

Today is mother's day... we took mum to Lucky 10 at Bukit Raja for a meal, me n say paid while steph just came back from Indo so she's not here with us...
I ate Sirloin steak, Sab ate Lam and mum just ate chicken coz she was afraid that the meat was too tough for her denture..hahah
It was cheap and nice, we took lots of pic la..haha.. refer to instagram..hahah

Today was any ordinary working day, spent 3 hours in the morning in the pool and 2 in the evening, earned rm100 today..haha... Money is so hard to come by that why i need to work hard next time to be rich...yeahhh~

Didn't quite talk to my bf much today..haha.. we each have our life during weekends...haha

In 2 weeks time my bf wud be flying off to Cambodia for his company trip...i'm sure i wud miss him dearly..i don't know if i get to talk to him a not..sad la..haiz..i don't wan my bf to go but it's a hol, i think he deserve a hol... days without me, days on his own to realize how much he loves me...MUAHAHAH...

Tomorrow he n boy going out, we gonna watch movie and maybe eat Shogun if possible... if need reservation then we can eat coz she actually just bought the voucher...haha..

I love my boy's blog..he;s super funny in his blog..wonder why he can't be that funny in real life also..if he also that funny in real life then life would be so so great..i laugh every single day..HAHAH..

Baby's pre birthday celebration (5/5/2013)

Today was really a fun filled day i would say..

I woke up feeling super tired this morning, but i know i had to wake or not i can't celebrate my boy's bday...
Last night my boy was super bitchy to me but this morning, he came down to fetch me from Klang station, i know he cared for my safety because today happens to be election day... He allowed me to drive back to Sg Buloh..i think i'm getting so much better at driving these days... plus the road was empty, i enjoy driving when there is so little car, people were all busy voting at their respective booth, that explains the minimal car...hahah

We got home after getting Subway and Dunkin Donut...i wanted to nap initially before i leave for lunch but my gila bf was playing game...his mouse and keyboard so super noisy man...and the light was on...i cudnt even sleep at all eventho i was super tired..hahah but it's okay i forgive him cause it's his almost special day..

To ask my bf go bath is like asking hint o commit suicide...he drags and drags and drags... so i had to use the comb and whack kau him...i really whack him le...i think it must have hurt quite badly...hahah...i feel quite bad coz i actually very sayang him one..hahaaha

After everyone was done, we left home for TJ Haus at SS18 Subang Jaya...the food there was just fantastic... it's relatively cheap too...i paid rm150 for meal for 4 people and all of us kinda had Lamb, Beef n Duck...portion was pretty big, a satisfying meal...
After that, we kinda stopped by RT pastry to get bi's cake... bought him Sesame Charcoal Cake..it's one of my fav from RT so i wanted to intro it to them..

After getting the cake, we went to Curve...Bi got his new watch today...A/X le...and it cost rm440...so exp man...i won't actually spend so much on a watch at this age..hahah.. he got the watch as a birthday present from his mum, he should totally appreciate his mum lo...hahah.. don't always ask money from her again, earn more money and buy her stuff in return.. ahahha

I wanted to go to Borders to spend my remaining book voucher, on the way there, i saw MPH book fair...and i was thinking since i'm left with rm100 only..i can't get another starbucks voucher...so might as well just get from MPH which offer 30% off on fictions! so i bought 4 books that cost me rm102.. hahah

After that, we went home, went home to blow his birthday cake that was left in the car for so long..hahah..cake kinda got soften...hahaha..

After awhile i had to return home edy...cause mum insist i return before 7pm for safety purposes...so i got home by 6pm.. 
after bathing, i anxiously served the net and waited for results for the election.. i'm currently still waiting for the final announcement...i really hope Pakatan wins...i mean we should give them a chance to prove their capabilities... in Pakatan han we put our trust..

Tomorrow is bi's bday but i can't meet him cause after election, we might not know if there would be a riot or not, so we shouldn't go out for safety sake...but i dud totally make it up to him someday soon..

Tomorrow, i give my boy privilege to scold me and i won't scold him the whole day...only tomorrow ar...no more after that till next year 6/5/2014... HAHAHAHAH!!!

Steak and more (23/4/2013)

I know the future you might be wondering how come i missed a day in blogging, so here is my explanation, yesterday i stayed over at my boy's house and so happen there was no internet connection the whole freaking day...what a day..ikr! but ut;s okay, his company made me so happy. 

Yesterday, my bf spent me to steak at Angus House at Publika..OMG, it was so awesome i tell you. I don't know how anyone can not fancy steak, it's the best dish ever created honestly! so juicy and tender the beef but the sauce wasn't out of my expectation, like my boy said, i'm still on the hunt for the best steak, when i speak of the best, it means 10/10! Angus's steak was 7/10, while TGIF steak was 9/10...i don't know when will my 10/10 steak arrive to me! I hope it's soon, since I'm such a fan of food. heheh =)

After Angus house, we went back home, i know he was anticipated for his car cause it was sent to repair before we left for Publika. I asked him want to listen to the iPod, he said no cause he wants to reach home fast...i mean, how does it relate right? HAHAH, it's not like if u listen to music i will arrive much slower...LOL...stupid boy of mine..

So we reached the work shop but work on his car was not done yet, so he left disappointedly back home.. arrive home to only discover that there is no Internet! so we started laying down on the bed, we played and played and tickle and played and tickle...it was so so so funny u tell..i had the best bed time with him ytd...love how he react to my tickles these days, he wasn't afraid of tickles last time, don't know why suddenly it changes..haha.. i of coz assume that his body fats has increased tremendously, thats why the ticklish feeling starts occurring. Kept telling him he need to exercise..but all he want is those kind of exercise on bed...how pathetic! LOL

We laid on bed till 5 plus only we left home for Curve, by that time, the car wasn't even ready yet.. I would say we wasted a lot of time at home but it was worth it for all the happiness on bed...hahah.. 

First thing we did in Curve was his spectacles. he watches porn with one side of his eye, that explains the one eye powered at 3.0 and another eye at 0.25...i encouraged him to buy the cheapest specs coz i know at the end of the day he would def want to change a new pair in 6 to 8 months time...thankfully he listened to me but i know he wasn't really that happy with it but it's for the best for now.. because he already overspend this month.

After dinner, we walked a bit and then went home. The moment he reached home, he asked about his car...hahaha... so we went down to briefly check on his newly repaired car. the repair cost rm1200...crazy!!

I was already death exhausted by the time i finish bathing but i had to do a li bit of work before i go to bed...I managed to hit 1000+ word before i finally decided to go to bed.. we cuddled each other to bed...love it =)

The day ended so well i tell you.. It was perfect...my bf is the kind of bf that i want. He does a lot of good things and he listen to thing i tell him... never felt this bless in my entire life...The only one thing missing is him getting a really proper job that would allow him to marry me soon =)

This morning, my bf woke up super early, earlier than me by 2 − 3 hours...haha..I'm so piggy these days, he's super hardworking and discipline these days i tell you..he wakes up 7 plus for a week plus edy and nv nap in the afternoon...i don't know what happened to him, he became such a super good boy i tell you... no one can ever imagine Eric Chang being like that le.

He woke up earlier to go wash his car becoz it was really dusty and he packed Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng for me...OMG...so loved le..he's such a good bf man ytd and today...

After breakfast, we laid down for a bit..was deciding whether to go watch a movie or go JPJ and get road tax done..ended up going to JPJ but didn't get the road tax done coz the insurance person made a freaking mistake that wasted our 1 hour time! wth la...only ruiner in my beautiful day! ishk!

but it's okay, after that we went to MBO for movie..we watched Oblivion. It was a rather good show i would say, beautifully made. then we had Subway. I treated my bf to Subway coz ytd he treat me to steak...heheheh =D

and after that he sent me home...wonderful 2 day spent with my bf. I super heart love heart love my bf to the max max max..

I hope things just get better and better in our life!!
