The Front Door Cafe @ Grocers Inn

It is almost the end of 2014 already? So fast you might say! Well, this is 'time' I guess.

Before you know it, you are another year older! ='(

For those who are already working would only means clearing off leave before the new year kick in! Many of my colleagues are clearing of their leave this few days, that leaves the office very empty and quiet. So, being super adventurous, Laura, Ophelia and I decided to go to a nearby cafe for lunch.
EXPENSIVE lunch! Usually we would just have instant noodle of chinese food near our office.

We have decided to give The Front Door Cafe a try!

This cafe is situated right at Petaling Street, definitely an old building built during the British ruling. I am assuming la actually. LOL

They are especially famous for their Signature Toast.

Since there were three of us, we ordered the 5 slices one. There were 10 different choices given, the 5 that we have picked are:
1. Cream Cheese/Asparagus/Sauteed Mushroom/Hard Boiled Egg
2. Cream Cheese/Cucumber Ribbon/Smoked Salmom/Capers
3. Mozzarella/Green Apple/Almonds/Salted Caramel
4. Pizza Sauce/Mozzarella/Beef Pepperoni/Fresh Basil
5. Cream Cheese/Sliced Avocado/Fried Egg

All I can say is it one hell of a toast! Love em!

Other than the toast, we also ordered pastas, the pastas were quite disappointing la honestly,.

The pesto one were not well seasoned and the creamy pasta was toooooo creamy till the point off 'over-jelak' (if that is even a word lol) but the portion was huge la. Should have just ordered one pasta instead of two. Pasta each cost RM17, overprice for the not so pleasant pasta. hahah

And finally, cafe visit will not be accomplished without a cup of caffeine and i take Mocha.

Oh ya, they were embarrass with what I did! Being too short, the only way to take a high view pic is to stand up on the chair and that was what I did! HAHAHA! DONT JUDGE! =P
